Compliance
Adhere to the Environmental Management and Co-ordination Act and related regulations.
Sustainable energy
Promote solar power, efficient lighting and retrofits that cut energy use and emissions.
Waste management
Minimise and separate waste; recycle cable off-cuts and scrap metal; dispose of batteries, lamps, oils and e-waste through licensed handlers.
Site care
Prevent spills, control dust and noise, protect vegetation and water courses, restore sites on completion.
Awareness
Train employees on environmental responsibilities.
Implementation
How it is put into practice
Management oversees the policy, with responsibilities delegated to supervisors and all employees; we engage clients, suppliers and communities and favour suppliers who share these commitments.
Review
Every solar system, LED retrofit and efficient pump we install reduces diesel use, grid demand and running costs — and contributes to Kenya's clean-energy transition. Reviewed annually.
